// Introduction
Welcome to my blog about my recent interior design photoshoot in Old Forge, New York in the Adirondacks! I had the opportunity to work with the talented Liz Anderson to create a stunning portfolio of images that showcase the beauty of the Adirondacks. Liz Anderson Interiors in based in Charlotte, VT but she works with clients all over the country. This renovation/redesign was for some Brooklyn based clients who were looking for something unique with elements of a Japanese tea house (note the ceilings) In the middle of a northeast winter, this photoshoot was truly a unique experience. In this blog, I’ll share some of my favorite photos from the shoot, as well as they speak fro themselves!
// The Location
Old Forge, New York is a small town located in the Adirondack Mountains. It’s known for its rustic charm and stunning views of the mountains. One can guess as to why the couple chose this spot as a getaway for it's lake views, access, and overall old-town vibes you can only find here. It's stunningly beautiful, peaceful, and secluded.
// The Photoshoot
The photoshoot was an all day affair. Going into the shoot, we had a pretty good game plan of the spaces we wanted to photography and focus on. We wanted to capture the beauty of the Adirondacks, so we made sure to highlight (as best we could in snow) it's location to the lake and simple but interesting details. This eclectic couple has such interesting and unique taste that Liz seems to effortlessly bring to life in her designs.
But I need not say anymore. Here are some of the highlights from our shoot in January.
